A compact broadband antenna for ultra high frequency and L band on 5G new radio base stations
A simple method is proposed for the realisation of compact dual‐polarised antennas. The aperture area of a dual‐polarised dipole antenna can be reduced by half by surrounding the antenna with a square loop.

Dual‐loop antennas with an expanded axial ratio bandwidth
The authors propose a novel dual‐wire antenna with a balanced feed to increase a 3‐dB axial ratio bandwidth. The antenna comprises loop elements with quasi two‐sources, and the effects of the element distance on the axial ratio bandwidth are revealed ...

Radio-transparent dipole antenna based on a metasurface cloak
The authors demonstrate broadband and efficient radio-transparent antennas based on cloaking technology. Their features are well suited for modern communication systems, as closely spaced antennas need to be integrated with minimal interference.

A novel broadband windmill‐shaped metasurface antenna with stable radiation patterns
A novel windmill‐shaped metasurface (MTS) structure is firstly presented and applied to realise broadband antennas with stable radiation patterns. Different from conventional square MTS structure, the proposed windmill‐shaped MTS structure is formed by ...
