Theory and Analysis of Differentially-Driven Microstrip Antennas

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2006
This paper studies differentially-driven microstrip antennas. The theory of microstrip antennas based on the improved cavity model is expanded to analyze the input impedance and radiation characteristics of the differentially-driven microstrip antennas ...

Microstrip antenna feeds

1989
In the present discussion covering the most important types, those aspects which are of particular practical interest to the designer will be covered, emphasising available options and including references to the latest advances in feed design. For the sake of descriptive economy and consistency, it will be assumed, unless otherwise stated, that the ...

Broadband Microstrip Antennas

2009
Microstrip antennas are inherently narrowband. The typical bandwidth of a microstrip antenna is around 4% to 7%. A considerable number of experimental approaches have been undertaken to develop microstrip antennas that have a broader impedance bandwidth than a single microstrip element achieves without external matching.
