A tactical broadband omnidirectional antenna
2008 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference, 2008In this paper, a vertically polarized broadband antenna with an adjustable shape for specific applications in the VHF and UHF bands is proposed. This antenna is a compact monopole with a pseudo-conical shape set on a rectangular ground plane, partially made of wire netting.

A broadband microstrip antenna: SGMFP antenna
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2003AbstractA novel structure of broadband microstrip antennas, termed the SGMFP antenna, is proposed. It is consisted of a slot in the ground plane, a microstrip feedline supported on a substrate, a foam layer, and a patch. It can achieve broad bandwidth and high polarisation purity.

Apart from the sleeve monopole, this chapter discusses other broadband antennas as well, and the performance evaluation in terms of various measured and simulated parameters is also illustrated. This chapter will help antenna engineers get a better understanding of the antennas discussed and make a comparison with other broadband antennas.

2008 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium, 2008
A broadband planar antenna with stable radiation patterns is presented. It consists of a suspended radiator fed by a vertical feed through an n-shaped microstrip. The measured impedance bandwidth is 3.1-5.1 GHz for a return loss of |S11| < -10 dB, and an average gain of 7.7 dBi is achieved. There is no beam squinting across the operating frequency band.

Broadband/Multiband Printed Antennas
IEICE Transactions on Communications, 2005Broadening the frequency bandwidth of antennas has been one of the major subjects concerning antenna design technologies. Two of the major subjects for microstrip antennas, which appeared in the 1970s, have also been the broadening of the frequency bandwidth and the sharing of multifrequency bands. In this paper, we describe the broadband and multiband

The study on microstrip antenna with miniaturization and broadband
2011 4th International Conference on Biomedical Engineering and Informatics (BMEI), 2011As the entrance, the antenna has the most direct impacts on their performances of wireless communication system. Microstrip antenna has considerable potential value in communication application by virtue of compact-structure, low-profile, light-weight, small-volume, easy to be fabricated and integrated with microwave integrated circuits.

Broadband antenna quality control
Upravlenie kachestvom (Quality management), 2023This article discusses the main issues of quality control of broadband antennas. An algorithm for determining the gain, the importance of using the Helmholtz equation for determining the parameters of the electromagnetic field in the near zone of the antenna complex is considered.

Broadband Optical Antenna with a Disk Structure
Passive Components and Fiber-Based Devices, 2011Broadband optical antennas are of interest as they can transmit more information like traditional microwave UWB antennas. This paper presents a design of broadband optical antennas with a concentric disk structure. An equivalent circuit for the optical antenna with a disk structure is introduced.

Overview of Research on Broadband of Dipole Antenna
2019 IEEE 19th International Conference on Communication Technology (ICCT), 2019The methods of realizing broadband of dipole antenna are summarized and analyzed. Due to the narrow operating frequency band of the dipole antenna, in order to improve the bandwidth of the dipole antenna and improve its spectrum efficiency, the broadband of the dipole antenna is studied. This is also in line with the research trend of broadband antenna.
