Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 1999
Two patients with giant bronchial artery aneurysm at the origin of the bronchial artery from the descending aorta were successfully treated. Both of them had been given a diagnosis of bronchiectasis and found with hemoptysis. One was a 64-year-old woman treated with transcatheter arterial embolization, and the other was a 64-year-old woman treated with

The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 1986
Two patients with bronchial artery aneurysm were surgically treated. One patient had a saccular aneurysm in the root of the left bronchial artery, and the other had a mediastinal as well as an intrapulmonary aneurysm, rupture of the latter of which had resulted in massive hemoptysis.

Bronchial artery aneurysms and bronchial artery–pulmonary artery fistula [PDF]
A 57-year old woman presented with intermittent swallowing discomfort for 3 months. A computed tomography (CT) angiography showed a mediastinal bronchial arterial aneurysm, a widening of the bronchial artery tortuously, a right hilar mass and anomalous communication between the bronchial and pulmonary arteries (Fig. 1A–D).

Bronchial Artery Aneurysm Embolization with NBCA
CardioVascular and Interventional Radiology, 2006We present a case of asymptomatic bronchial artery aneurysm that formed a fistula with part of the pulmonary artery (there was no definite fistula with the pulmonary vein). We were able to catheterize the feeding vessel but could not reach the aneurysm. We therefore injected a mixture of N-butyl-2-cyanoacrylate (NBCA; Histoacryl, B.

Aneurysms of the bronchial arteries
American Heart Journal, 1930Abstract 1. 1. A case of multiple, saccular aneurysms of the bronchial arteries is reported, the first recorded in the literature. Death resulted from asphyxia caused by tracheal occlusion by the aneurysm. 2. 2. The etiology is shown definitely to be luetic, a rather unusual finding in aneurysms of smaller arteries.

Mediastinal bronchial artery aneurysm with hematemesis
Diseases of the Esophagus, 2003Mediastinal bronchial artery aneurysm is a rare condition which can lead to potentially fatal hemorrhage. In most cases it presents respiratory symptoms due to rupture into pleural parenchyma. But when it develops mediodorsally and compresses the esophagus, it may cause dysphagia or hematemesis.

Bronchial artery aneurysm disguised as a leiomyoma of the esophagus
The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 2002Bronchial artery aneurysm (BAA) is a rare entity with potentially fatal hemorrhagic complications. It is usually diagnosed using a computed tomography scan or angiography in emergency situations (clinical picture of aortic dissection or massive hemoptysis).

Bronchial Artery Aneurysm Refractory to Transcatheter Embolization
The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 2008Bronchial artery aneurysms occur rarely, but they are potentially life threatening and require treatment to avoid rupture and other complications. A 37-year-old man, who was otherwise healthy, presented with chest discomfort and was found to have a large right bronchial artery aneurysm.

Bronchial artery aneurysm in hyperimmunoglobulinemia E syndrome
Pediatric Radiology, 1994A 2-year-old girl presented with a large right middle lobe cavitating lesion, complicated by life-threatening hemoptysis secondary to hyperimmunoglobulinemia E (hyper IgE) syndrome (Job's syndrome). This proved to be a bronchial artery pseudoaneurysm which was successfully embolized.
