"Communicating" bronchopulmonary foregut malformations
American Journal of Roentgenology, 1986The clinical, radiologic, and pathologic features of four children with uncommon variations of congenital bronchopulmonary foregut malformations are presented. In each case, the malformation included a persistent communication between lung tissue and the gastrointestinal tract.

Bronchopulmonary foregut malformation mimicking neuroblastoma
Pediatric Radiology, 1996We report the case of a patient with an unusual, complex bronchopulmonary foregut malformation. The malformation included an extralobar sequestration, an esophageal duplication cyst, and a gastric duplication cyst. Postnatal imaging suggested a fetal adrenal neuroblastoma.

Congenital bronchopulmonary—Foregut malformation
Journal of Pediatric Surgery, 1968Abstract The pathological anatomy and clinical features of three cases of pulmonary sequestration with gastrointestinal communication and of 10 cases reported in the literature suggest that extralobar sequestration, intralobar sequestration and the sequestration communicating with the gut share a common embryogenesis and be collectively identified as ...

Clinicopathologic Demonstration of Complex Bronchopulmonary Foregut Malformation
The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 2008Bronchopulmonary foregut malformations are rare and often prove to be extremely difficult to diagnose. The presented case is a 44-year-old man complaining about cough and hemoptysis. These symptoms continued despite medical treatment. A computed thorax tomographic scan depicted a paravertebral cystic lesion.

The spectrum of bronchopulmonary foregut malformations
Pediatric Surgery International, 1987Bronchogenic cysts and pulmonary sequestrations have in the past been defined as separate congenital pathological entities. The association of both in one mediastinal lesion is very rare. Such a case is reported, and lends support to the concept that bronchogenic cysts and pulmonary sequestrations belong in a spectrum of bronchopulmonary malformations ...

Radionuclide evaluation of a communicating bronchopulmonary foregut malformation
Pediatric Radiology, 1978A boy with a communicating bronchopulmonary foregut malformation is presented. Since arteriography failed to demonstrate systemic or pulmonary blood supply to the lesion, 99M Tc-macroaggregated albumin was injected into the aorta at the conclusion of the arteriogram.

Bronchopulmonary foregut malformation mimicking pseudocyst of pancreas
The Indian Journal of Pediatrics, 2010We report a four-yr-old girl who was successfully treated for a large gastro-duodenal duplication that communicated with extra-lobar pulmonary sequestration on one end and the main pancreatic duct on the other. Such an association has not been reported hitherto.

Bilateral Communicating Bronchopulmonary Foregut Malformations in a Child
The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 2006Communicating bronchopulmonary foregut malformations are rare anomalies. The complex anatomy requires innovative surgical techniques. We report a child with bilateral sequestrations communicating with the lower esophagus. The sequestrations were excised through a single thoracotomy incision and the esophagus was repaired.

Concurrent bronchopulmonary foregut malformations
Pediatric Radiology, 1991The incidence of multiple or bilateral bronchopulmonary foregut malformations is unusual, and has rarely been reported in the literature. The presence of symptomatic concurrent, different malformations in the same patient, as described here, has not been previously reported.
