The "Brownian map" is a fundamental object in mathematics, in some sense a 2-dimensional analogue of Brownian motion. Here we briefly explain this object and a bit of its history.

On the control of the difference between two Brownian motions: a dynamic copula approach
We propose new copulae to model the dependence between two Brownian motions and to control the distribution of their difference. Our approach is based on the copula between the Brownian motion and its reflection.

Financial market dynamics is rigorously studied via the exact generalized Langevin equation. Assuming market Brownian self-similarity, the market return rate memory and autocorrelation functions are derived, which exhibit an oscillatory-decaying behavior with a long-time tail, similar to empirical observations.

Müntz linear transforms of Brownian motion [PDF]
We consider a class of Volterra linear transforms of Brownian motion associated to a sequence of Müntz Gaussian spaces and determine explicitly their kernels; the kernels take a simple form when expressed in terms of Müntz-Legendre polynomials. These are

Canonical decompositions of certain generalized Brownian bridges [PDF]
We define a generalized Brownian bridge and we provide some information about its filtration. Two decompositions of this process as a semi-martingale are given.

A promising new energy source: The Brownian motion of nanoresonator arrays
It is proposed a device designed to extract the Brownian motion energy. Since Brownian motion is usually a whoolly disordered motion, the first step consists in putting it in order with resonators, the Brownian motion of which is organized.

On expansive three-isometries [PDF]
The sub-Brownian 3-isometries in Hilbert spaces are the natural counterparts of the 2-isometries, because all of them have Brownian-type extensions in the sense of J. Agler and M. Stankus.
