Correlations in multithermostat Brownian systems with Lorentz force
We study the motion of a Brownian particle subjected to Lorentz force due to an external magnetic field. Each spatial degree of freedom of the particle is coupled to a different thermostat.

ABSTRACT Carbon materials synthesized from biomass are promising candidates for supercapacitor electrodes. Various activation processes for developing carbon materials with high surface areas have been investigated. Here, a manganese monoxide (MnO)–porous‐activated carbon (AC) composite was fabricated via the chemical activation of coconut shell by the

ABSTRACT Hybrid nanofluids, known for their superior thermal and electrical conductivity, have demonstrated remarkable potential in enhancing the heat transfer capability of conventional base fluids. This study analyzes the effects of viscous dissipation and heat radiation on two‐dimensional unsteady incompressible squeezing flow transporting hybrid ...

Anomalous diffusion of scaled Brownian tracers
A model for anomalous transport of tracer particles diffusing in complex media in two dimensions is proposed. The model takes into account the characteristics of persistent motion that active bath transfer to the tracer, thus the model proposed in here extends active Brownian motion, for which the stochastic dynamics of the orientation of the ...

ABSTRACT Building on a quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation monitoring (QCM‐D), fouling in emulsion polymerization was compared between acrylate dispersions stabilized with a mobile, anionic surfactant and dispersions of poly(vinyl acetate‐co‐vinyl neodecanoate), PVAc, stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol, PVOH.

The relationship between form and function of the carnivore mandible
Abstract Dietary morphology diversified extensively in Carnivoraformes (living Carnivora and their stem relatives) during the Cenozoic (the last 66 million years) as they evolved to capture, handle, and process new animal and plant diets. We used 3D geometric morphometrics, mechanical advantage, and finite element analysis to test the evolutionary ...
