Nonlinear bubble dynamics of cavitation
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2012A theoretical framework for studying cavitation dynamics is revived. It consists of a nonlinear sound wave equation in an acoustic cavitation environment together with the bubble motion equation. The nonlinear sound wave equation considers time delayed bubble-bubble interaction.

Bubble dynamics and spontaneous compactification
Physical Review D, 1989As a laboratory for studying dimensional reduction in inhomogeneous spacetimes, we consider several five-dimensional models in which a bubble of a spacetime with a small compact dimension is sewn to a spacetime with all five dimensions macroscopic. Obliging the five-dimensional metric to be well behaved at the domain boundary constrains the parameters ...

Dynamics of bubble-bubble interactions experiencing viscoelastic drag
Physical Review E, 2019The subject of the present theoretical study is the dynamics of bubble-bubble interactions in a viscoelastic medium. First, new equations for calculating the viscoelastic drag exerted on bubbles during their translational motion in a viscoelastic medium are derived.

Bubble dynamics investigation in a slurry bubble column
AIChE Journal, 2008AbstractThe application of four‐point optical probe has been for the first time extended to a slurry system in a 10.2‐cm ID column. Bubble dynamics (local gas holdup, bubble chord length, bubble velocity, bubble frequency, and specific interfacial area) were investigated using an air–water‐catalyst system under atmospheric pressure. With an increase in

Dynamics of bubbles in a lipid monolayer
Physical Review A, 1992A dynamic analysis of the growth of a gas bubble system in a lipid monolayer is presented. The bubles are separated by thin liquid films. The two-dimensional bubble pattern has, independently of the initial gas phase covering the surface, two different regimes of growth with time.

Bubble Dynamics: From Single-Bubble Growth to Dual-Bubble Coalescence
ACS NanoBubble engineering enhances mass transfer in electrochemical gas-evolution devices by accelerating bubble detachment. Understanding dynamics from single-bubble growth to microscale bubble-bubble interactions is fundamental to bubble engineering but remains challenging.
