Manitoba Rectifier—Bridgeless Buck–Boost PFC

This paper presents a new bridgeless buck–boost power factor corrector with the use of the active virtual ground technique, which is named as the Manitoba Rectifier. The proposed topology can convert the grid ac voltage into a wide range of voltage outputs within a single-stage circuit. It is in a bridgeless structure and simple in design.

Switching Capacitor Assisted Buck-Boost Converter

A switching capacitor assisted buck-boost converter is presented in this paper. This converter is capable of yielding a high buck-boost voltage gain at smaller duty ratios with maximum duty ratio range is up to 0.5. To achieve this, switching capacitor concept is used.

Negative-output KY buck-boost converter

In this paper, a novel converter, named as negative-output KY buck-boost converter, is presented herein, which has no bilinear characteristics. First of all, the basic operating principle of the proposed converter is illustrated in detail, and secondly some simulated and experimental results are provided to verify its effectiveness.

This paper presents design and study of interleaved Buck-Boost converter with positive output voltage (I.P.B.B) dedicated to the photovoltaic system connected to the electrical network with storage in the batteries. Depending on the switches command, the converter works alternately: Buck to charge the battery or Boost for injection into the power grid.
