Hysteretic Buck-Boost Converter for Wearable Applications
2019 15th Conference on Ph.D Research in Microelectronics and Electronics (PRIME), 2019This paper presents a novel Buck-Boost converter architecture targeting wearable applications, utilizing hysteretic control. The topology consists of three comparators, a derivative circuit, logic, timers and power switches. Macromodel level simulation results show < 5mV line and load regulation results, demonstrating that this topology promises to be ...

A novel buck/boost/buck-boost three-input DC/DC converter
IECON 2011 - 37th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2011In hybrid renewable power systems, the use of a multiple-input dc/dc converter (MIC) leads to simpler circuit and lower cost, compared to the conventional use of several single-input converters. This paper proposed a novel three-input buck/boost/buck-boost converter, which can be applied in all kinds of input voltage application.

H∞ Controller for Buck Boost Converter
2019 IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Techniques in Control, Optimization and Signal Processing (INCOS), 2019In this paper the focal objective is to design robust voltage controller for a DC-DC converter and discourse the problem of output feedback $H \infty$ controller with multiple parameter uncertainty for a buck boost converter connected with BLDC Motor. The converter output voltage depends on the magnitude of duty cycle.

Quadratic bidirectional buck-boost converter
2020 International Symposium on Power Electronics, Electrical Drives, Automation and Motion (SPEEDAM), 2020A non-inverting quadratic buck-boost converter realized with two half-bridges is presented. The function is explained, the voltage and current stress of the devices are derived, and dimensioning equations are deduced. Simulation results and measurements from a small model converter are shown.

Buck-boost integrated forward converter
2005 European Conference on Power Electronics and Applications, 2005An integrated converter is a synthesized converter based on the overall system integration, which is simplified by the system objective and can implement the system functions similar to the discrete converters. An integrated converter consists of converter sets; each converter set has a special function defined by the designer.

A novel isolated buck-boost converter
INTELEC 2009 - 31st International Telecommunications Energy Conference, 2009This paper proposed a novel Isolated Buck-Boost PWM DC-DC converter circuit. The topology which merged buck-boost mode with flyback mode can share the transformer and switch. Not only isolated buck-boost mode current but also flyback mode current added on the one output current of the converter because the topology merged buck-boost mode with flyback ...

On the design of single-inductor double-output DC-DC buck, boost and buck-boost converters
2008 15th IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems, 2008Design methodologies for Single-Inductor Dual-Output (SIDO) DC-DC switching converters are presented. The suitable control of a double feedback loop enables the single inductor sharing between two outputs with low output voltages errors and limited load-regulation. The design methods to achieve SIDO converters with a wide input supply voltage range and

QUASIPERIODICITY AND CHAOS IN THE DC–DC BUCK–BOOST CONVERTER
International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2000This paper is concerned with the study of nonlinear phenomena in a closed loop voltage-controlled DC–DC Buck–Boost converter when suitable parameters are varied. The dynamics is analyzed using both the continuous-time model and the numerically computed stroboscopic map. The analysis of the one-dimensional bifurcation diagram shows that Neimarck–Sacker
