A Review Study to Assess Skirted Foundation's Performance
Innovative structural supports, known as skirted foundations, are primarily employed in offshore engineering. Skirted foundations extend below the footing like conventional shallow foundations and carry loads to deeper soil layers.

Abstract Purpose To investigate whether clinically failed anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstructions can be accurately identified using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Methods This prospective case series included 81 patients (mean age 33.5 ± 11.9 years, 50.6% male) with clinically failed ACL reconstructions defined by Lachman ≥ Grade 2, Pivot ...

Abstract Purpose In revision anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (R‐ACLR), adding a lateral extra‐articular procedure (LEAP) reduces graft failure and postoperative laxity. Iliotibial band (ITB)‐based techniques may avoid patellar tendon harvesting morbidity, but evidence in adults, particularly in revision cases, remains limited.

Abstract Current decision‐making for slope‐reducing osteotomy (SRO) often relies on isolated posterior tibial slope (PTS) thresholds, potentially misidentifying patients with acquired soft‐tissue decompensation or possibly overtreating those with an asymptomatic, inherently hyperlax baseline.

ABSTRACT In Kelantan, entrenched land degradation and extensive idling of agricultural lands exacerbate rural poverty. Current top‐down planning often overlooks local geographic and social constraints, despite state initiatives to convert idle lands and strengthen rural livelihoods.

Small-scale Testing of Bucket Foundations in Sand
For offshore foundation structures, the loads are of varying nature both in magnitude and duration. For the bucket foundation the dissipation of the pore pressure is highly relevant since it greatly affects the strength of the structure. The build up of pore pressures with varying loading rate is therefore a highly relevant research subject.

The experimental design and the exometabolomic findings obtained by 1H‐NMR analysis of conditioned media from subcutaneous (SAT) and epididymal adipose tissue (EAT) explants of control and obese mice supplemented with chia oil (1.5% (w/w)). Following 8 weeks of control or high‐fat diet and 5 weeks of chia oil supplementation, SAT and EAT explants were ...

Refining techniques for high‐frequency monitoring of chlorophyll a fluorescence in estuarine systems
Abstract Concentrations of the photosynthetic pigment chlorophyll a are commonly used as a proxy for phytoplankton biomass in aquatic systems. Traditional methods for extracting chlorophyll a in discrete samples limit measurement frequency, while in situ sensor technology provides high frequency chlorophyll a fluorescence measurements at a more ...

Comparison of Calculation Models for Bucket Foundation in Sand
The possibility of fast and rather precise preliminary offshore foundation design is desirable. The ultimate limit state of bucket foundation is investigated using three different geotechnical calculation tools: [Ibsen 2001] an analytical method, LimitState:GEO and Plaxis 3D.

ABSTRACT This research examines how AI role disclosure transparency—the consumers' subjective perception of how clearly and informatively an advertisement communicates the role that AI played in the ad creation process—influences consumer evaluation of AI‐generated ads via ad creation process credibility. A high level of perceived transparency enhances
