Connexin 43‐Enriched Vesicles Improve Synchronization in hiPSC‐Derived Cardiomyocytes
Plasma membrane‐derived Connectosomes enriched in connexin‐43 are produced from donor hiPSCs and applied to hiPSC‐derived cardiomyocytes (hiPSC‐CMs). Connexin‐43 channels on Connectosomes remain functional, strengthening intercellular electrochemical coupling and increasing network synchronization over time.

A central molecular adaptor, ZSL, is identified that links transverse filaments ZYP1 to central element SCEP1/2 to drive synaptonemal complex assembly in Brassica napus. Loss of ZSL abolishes synaptonemal complex formation, disrupts meiotic chromosome segregation, and markedly increases crossovers, providing mechanistic insight into meiotic fidelity ...

Oligonucleotide‐based fluorescence in situ hybridization probes were developed in the model citrus species Citrus maxima. These probes were applied to comparative karyotyping across 14 species in the Rutaceae family. This analysis revealed chromosomal evolution in lineages that diverged from Citrus nearly 52 million years ago.

Weetman Pearson in Mexico and the Emergence of a British Oil Major, 1901-1919 [PDF]
British overseas investment was one of the most powerful forces contributing to rapid global integration before World War 1. Approaching half of this total was in the form of foreign direct investment, as British entrepreneurs increasingly located their ...

Bacterial Outer Membrane Vesicles in Potentiating Cancer Vaccines: Progress and Prospects
Bacterial outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) have emerged as versatile platforms for cancer vaccine development owing to their intrinsic immunostimulatory properties and high engineering flexibility. This review summarizes OMV biology, immune mechanisms, and engineering strategies that enhance vaccine efficacy, discusses key translational challenges, and ...

DNA Replication Errors Drive Genome‐Wide Small Inverted Triplication Dynamics
This study provides insight into the dynamic equilibrium mechanism of a novel structural variant, small inverted triplication (SIT), which is generated by misalignment of the 3’ flap generated under DNA replication stress with palindromic sequence. Alternatively, the end sequence may fold back on itself to form an inverted fragment.

Some factors affecting the establishment and growth of bud grafts of roses : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in Botany at Massey University [PDF]
A brief review of abnormal growth of rose scion buds and the high proportion of buds which fail to produce normal growth in the production of rose plants by bud-grafting in New Zealand, introduces the subject. The history of investigations, prior to 1968,
