Astrocytic TIA1‐mediated stress granules (SGs) promote demyelination by sequestering the mRNA of cholesterol synthesis genes. In this model, astrocytic TIA1‐mediated SGs were increased in the optic nerves of EAE mice, leading to the downregulation of cholesterol synthesis genes such as HMGCS1 through sequestration of their mRNA into SGs, which ...

Productive resources in students’ ideas about energy: An alternative analysis of Watts’ original interview transcripts [PDF]
For over 30 years, researchers have investigated students’ ideas about energy with the intent of reforming instructional practice. In this pursuit, Watts contributed an influential study with his 1983 paper “Some alternative views of energy” [Phys. Educ.

SAGE is a unified framework for spatial domain identification in spatial transcriptomics that jointly models tissue architecture and gene programs. Topic‐driven gene selection (NMF plus classifier‐based scoring) highlights spatially informative genes, while dual‐view graph embedding fuses local expression and non‐local functional relations.

Maturation and Death of Adult-Born Olfactory Bulb Granule Neurons: Role of Olfaction
Young neurons born in the subventricular zone (SVZ) of adult mice migrate to the olfactory bulb (OB) where they differentiate into granule cells (GCs) and periglomerular interneurons.

A smart power‐generating coating is developed to harvest energy from both ambient humidity and impacting liquid droplets. The integrated system delivers sustained open‐circuit voltages of 0.85 V from moisture and up to 36 V from droplets. Its scalable coating architecture enables a continuous power supply for low‐power electronic devices.
