Superfluid density of bulk CaC6

Physica C: Superconductivity and its Applications, 2007
The recent discovery of superconductivity at 11.5 K in the graphite intercalation compound (GIC) CaC6 has opened new perspectives in the physics of graphite. One of the main open questions for superconducting GICs is related to the nature of the pairing mechanism, since the possibility of an unconventional, excitonic or plasmonic, origin of ...

GAMMA PROBE DRY BULK DENSITIES

Soil Science, 1975
The gamma density probe is a useful instrument for measuring water content in small volumes of soil. Essentially, the gamma probe measures the density of the soil and water between a source and a detector. To transpose the gamma densities into water content, the dry bulk density of the soil is needed.

Bulk Density of Bitumen Sheets

Advanced Materials Research, 2013
This article deals with determination of bulk density of bitumen waterproofing sheets using different methods, namely calculation and experimental measurement. Volume density actually well reflects bitumen sheet composition. Composition of bitumen sheet is the factor that influences the hydro insulation function.

Bulk density and bulk modulus of adsorbed coalbed methane

GEOPHYSICS, 2019
The bulk density and bulk modulus of adsorbed coalbed methane are required to calculate the undrained bulk and shear moduli as well as the fluid-saturated density of the coal reservoir. We derived the formula for the bulk modulus and bulk density of adsorbed methane using the Langmuir equation for isothermal adsorption.

Local-density-pseudofunction theory of bulk Si

Physical Review B, 1988
The pseudofunction implementation of local-density theory for Si is shown to produce the accepted results: a bond length of 2.34 A, a bulk modulus of B/sub 0/ = 1.03 Mbar, a pressure derivative of the bulk modulus of dB/sub 0//dp = 3.44, and a band structure in agreement with previous calculations and many data.

Consolidation-related bulk density and permeability models for bulk solids

Powder Technology, 1992
Abstract This paper examines several consolidation-related bulk density and permeability models for bulk solids. Numbers of experiments have been performed to measure bulk density and permeability and, by using an optimization technique, the most suitable and accurate models for bulk density and permeability of bulk solids are identified.

Bulk density of monodisperse materials

Refractories and Industrial Ceramics, 1997
A cluster model is used to calculate the bulk density of monodisperse systems. The values calculated with the help of the model are consistent with the experimental data. the dependence obtained can be used to determine the properties of ceramic and composite materials.

Bulk density of powder materials

Glass and Ceramics, 1997
Theoretical equations closely fitting the experimental data are proposed for calculating the bulk density of powder materials with allowance for the size and shape of cylindrical and tubular molds. These equations can be used to advantage in correcting the experimentally determined bulk density of fractionated powder materials and in engineering ...
