Factors associated with right bundle branch block in older adults

open access: yesRevista Cubana de Medicina Militar, 2022
Introduction: There is little literature on the association between right bundle branch block and risk factors such as hypertension and diabetes in patients in Latin America and Peru.

Concealed WPW Syndrome with Longitudinal Dissociation in the His Bundle Exhibiting Five Different Electrocardiographic Waveforms During Tachycardia

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, 2005
We examined a patient with concealed WPW syndrome who exhibited five different electrocardiographic waveforms during tachycardia. With the intracardiac electrogram, all tachycardia were artrioventricular reciprocating tachycardia with retrograde ...

Analysis of electrocardiographic signs in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy before and after septal myectomy. New criterion for proximal left bundle branch block

open access: yesРоссийский кардиологический журнал, 2022
Aim. To analyze 20 electrocardiographic (ECG) signs of left bundle branch block (LBBB) before and after septal myectomy in patients with hypertrophic cardio myopathy (HCM) and develop a criterion for proximal LBBB based on the selected signs.Material and

Inverse images of block varieties [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2021
We extend a result due to Kawai on block varieties for blocks with abelian defect groups to blocks with arbitrary defect groups. This partially answers a question by J. Rickard.

Rouquier blocks for Ariki-Koike algebras [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2022
The Rouquier blocks, also known as the RoCK blocks, are important blocks of the symmetric groups algebras and the Hecke algebras of type A, with the partitions labelling the Specht modules that belong to these blocks having a particular abacus configuration.

Programming Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy for Electrical Synchrony: Reaching Beyond Left Bundle Branch Block and Left Ventricular Activation Delay

open access: yesJournal of the American Heart Association : Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Disease, 2018
Background QRS narrowing following cardiac resynchronization therapy with biventricular (BiV) or left ventricular (LV) pacing is likely affected by patient‐specific conduction characteristics (PR, qLV, LV‐paced propagation interval), making a universal ...

Global torus blocks in the necklace channel [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
We continue studying of global conformal blocks on the torus in a special (necklace) channel. Functions of such multi-point blocks are explicitly found under special conditions on the blocks' conformal dimensions. We have verified that these blocks satisfy the Casimir equations, which were derived in previous studies.

Diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction in the presence of left bundle branch block

open access: yesHeart, 2019
Objective Patients with suspected acute myocardial infarction (AMI) in the setting of left bundle branch block (LBBB) present an important diagnostic and therapeutic challenge to the clinician.

On Some Properties of $K$- type Block Matrices in the context of Complementarity Problem [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2021
In this article we introduce $K$-type block matrices which include two new classes of block matrices namely block triangular $K$-matrices and hidden block triangular $K$-matrices. We show that the solution of linear complementarity problem with $K$-type block matrices can be obtained by solving a linear programming problem.
