Continuous limit, various exact solutions, kink soliton resonant phenomena and dynamical behaviors for a discrete Burgers equation

open access: goldResults in Physics, 2022
The Burgers equation can describe some phenomena such as turbulence, shock wave and traffic flow dynamics problems. Under consideration in this paper is a discrete Burgers equation, which can be viewed as the discrete counterpart of Burgers equation ...

State estimation based on nonlinear Kalman filter for fluid systems described by Burgers’ equation

open access: goldNihon Kikai Gakkai ronbunshu, 2021
Burgers’ equation is a fundamental equation for describing several flow phenomena such as traffic, shock waves, turbulence. Burgers’ equation consists of the advective and diffusive terms, which can be used to represent fundamental properties of flow ...

Reduction operators of Burgers equation.

open access: yesJ Math Anal Appl, 2013
The solution of the problem on reduction operators and nonclassical reductions of the Burgers equation is systematically treated and completed. A new proof of the theorem on the special "no-go" case of regular reduction operators is presented, and the representation of the coefficients of operators in terms of solutions of the initial equation is ...

Limits to Extensions of Burgers Equation [PDF]

open access: greenQuarterly of Applied Mathematics, 1994
The vector Burgers’ equation is extended to include pressure gradients and gravity. It is shown that within the framework of the Cole-Hopf transformation there are no physical solutions to this problem. This result is important because it clearly demonstrates that any extension of Burgers’ equation to more interesting physical situations is strongly ...

On One Initial Boundary Value Problem for the Burgers Equation in a Rectangular Domain [PDF]

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы, 2021
We consider some initial boundary value problems for the Burgers equation in a rectangular domain, which in a sense can be taken as a model one. The fact is that such a problem often arises when studying the Burgers equation in domains with moving ...

Noncommutative Burgers equation [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and General, 2003
We present a noncommutative version of the Burgers equation which possesses the Lax representation and discuss the integrability in detail. We find a noncommutative version of the Cole-Hopf transformation and succeed in the linearization of it. The linearized equation is the (noncommutative) diffusion equation and exactly solved.

Adaptive Backstepping Boundary Control for a Class of Modified Burgers’ Equation

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2023
Burgers’ equation is used to describe wave phenomena in hydrodynamics and acoustics. It was derived originally as a prototype to provide analytic insight into the nature of turbulence and its modeling, and has found applications in the study of shock ...

Effects of a Logistic Reaction to Finite Difference Numerical Solutions of the Inviscid Burgers Equation

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Information Systems, 2020
We solve the inviscid Burgers equation involving a logistic reaction. The goal is to investigate the effects of the logistic reaction to numerical solutions of the inviscid Burgers equation.

Algebraic traveling waves for the modified Korteweg–de-Vries–Burgers equation

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2020
In this paper we characterize all traveling wave solutions of the Generalized Korteweg–de Vries–Burgers equation. In particular we recover the traveling wave solutions for the well-known Korteweg–de Vries–Burgers equation.
