Reduction operators of Burgers equation.
The solution of the problem on reduction operators and nonclassical reductions of the Burgers equation is systematically treated and completed. A new proof of the theorem on the special "no-go" case of regular reduction operators is presented, and the representation of the coefficients of operators in terms of solutions of the initial equation is ...

On One Initial Boundary Value Problem for the Burgers Equation in a Rectangular Domain [PDF]
We consider some initial boundary value problems for the Burgers equation in a rectangular domain, which in a sense can be taken as a model one. The fact is that such a problem often arises when studying the Burgers equation in domains with moving ...

New Treatment of wave solutions of the nonlinear Burgers equation [PDF]
The nonlinear partial differential equations face many obstacles due to the nonlinear terms. The numerical and approximate solutions are only possible to be obtained.

Noncommutative Burgers equation [PDF]
We present a noncommutative version of the Burgers equation which possesses the Lax representation and discuss the integrability in detail. We find a noncommutative version of the Cole-Hopf transformation and succeed in the linearization of it. The linearized equation is the (noncommutative) diffusion equation and exactly solved.

State estimation based on nonlinear Kalman filter for fluid systems described by Burgers’ equation
Burgers’ equation is a fundamental equation for describing several flow phenomena such as traffic, shock waves, turbulence. Burgers’ equation consists of the advective and diffusive terms, which can be used to represent fundamental properties of flow ...

Adaptive Backstepping Boundary Control for a Class of Modified Burgers’ Equation
Burgers’ equation is used to describe wave phenomena in hydrodynamics and acoustics. It was derived originally as a prototype to provide analytic insight into the nature of turbulence and its modeling, and has found applications in the study of shock ...

Complex-Valued Burgers and KdV–Burgers Equations [PDF]
Spatially periodic complex-valued solutions of the Burgers and KdV-Burgers equations are studied in this paper. It is shown that for any sufficiently large time T, there exists an explicit initial data such that its corresponding solution of the Burgers equation blows up at T.
