Medial Open-Wedge High Tibial Osteotomy for Double Varus Deformity and an Increased Tibial Slope. [PDF]

open access: yesArthrosc Tech
Abstract The goal of the modified medial open‐wedge high tibial osteotomy is the combined correction of a double varus deformity (mechanical medial proximal tibia angle <84°, joint line convergence angle >2°) and an increased posterior tibial slope >12°.

Biplanar Lateral Hemi-Wedge Osteotomy for the Correction of Severe Tibial Varus Deformity. [PDF]

open access: yesArthrosc Tech
Abstract Indication for this hemi‐wedge high tibial osteotomy is the combination of medial osteoarthritis or cartilage damage, varus deformity of >10°, and medial proximal tibial angle of <80°. The proximal lateral tibia is exposed via a skin incision of approximately 10 cm length between the tibial tuberosity and the head of the fibula.

Slow Invaders Going Fast: New Data of Exotic Slugs (Gastropoda: Eupulmonata) From Spain. [PDF]

open access: yesEcol Evol
Morphological and genetical confirmation of the occurrence of two non‐native terrestrial slugs in the Iberian Peninsula (northern Spain): Ambigolimax parvipenis and Boettgerilla pallens. ABSTRACT Invasive species are a major concern in the current scenario of biodiversity loss. Most studies focus on vertebrates and insects, while other groups have been

A new methodology to manage Italian geodetic datums of the cadastral systems and of the historic maps [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Cadastral maps represent the result of the highest scale survey of any region. They are not topographic maps. Their goal is to show the property system of the mapped area, so any topographic element that is important for this aspect is shown while others

Residual Filtering Methods for the Purpose of Computing the Coordinate Transformation Distortion Model [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
For the purpose of coordinate transformation between two different horizontal geodetic data, the inherited one, the Croatian State Coordinate System (HDKS) and the new (official) one, Croatian Terrestrial Reference System 1996 (HTRS96) utilizing seven ...

State Plane Coordinate Systems of North Macedonia [PDF]

open access: yesMicro, Macro & Mezzo Geoinformation
The coordinate reference system (CRS) of North Macedonia constitutes a hybrid legacy of the former Yugoslav geodetic framework, founded on the Hermannskogel datum, Bessel 1841 ellipsoid, and Gauss–Krüger projection with a central meridian of 21°E ...

Development of Parameter Transformation of Indonesian Geospatial Reference System 2013 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
DGN95 is a static geospatial reference system, in which the change in the value of coordinates towards time as a result of tectonic plate movement and deformation of the earth’s crust, is not considered.

A comparison of transformation models between geodetic reference frames: case study in Illizi region (Algeria)

open access: yesGeodesy and Cartography
The Illizi region is an important petroleum zone in Algeria, where various seismic surveys have been conducted. The merging of adjacent surveys is not possible due to incompatible data linked to the geodetic networks.
