Microflora of the Bursa of Fabricius of Chickens
Bacterial flora of the bursa of Fabricius of chickens consisted of Enterobacteriaceae, Streptococci and Lactobacilli. The colonization of the bacteria in the bursa of Fabricius and the intestinal tract occurred simultaneously shortly after hatching. Intestinal bacteria inoculated directly onto the anal lips of newly hatched chickens were not recovered ...

Age-related histology of the bursa of Fabricius in bronze turkeys (Meleagris meleagris gallopavo)
The aim of the present study was to establish age-dependent histological changes occurring in the bursa of Fabricius of bronze turkeys. To this end, histological preparations from 60 clinically healthy birds (30 males and 30 females) were examined by ...

Mass anomalous dimension in SU(2) with six fundamental fermions [PDF]
We simulate SU(2) gauge theory with six massless fundamental Dirac fermions. We measure the running of the coupling and the mass in the Schroedinger Functional scheme. We observe very slow running of the coupling constant. We measure the mass anomalous dimension gamma, and find it is between 0.135 and 1.03 in the range of couplings consistent with the ...

Determine the weight of thymus, bursa of Fabricius and spleen and its ratio to body weight in some diseases of broilers [PDF]
Evaluation of lymphoid organs weight and determination of their weight: body weight ratio is the most used model to estimate protection rate given by vaccines against some diseases.

The Presence of Immunoglobulin in the Bursa of Fabricius ,
Abstract Three-week-old birds were immunized with 40 mg. bovine serum albumin (BSA) per Kg. body weight. The bursa of Fabricius was removed 30 minutes after BSA injection and from another group of birds at 24-hour intervals for 5 consecutive days. The bursa was frozen −25°C. and sectioned in a cryostat (−25°C.) at 4 mμ.

Properties of the String Operator in the Eight-Vertex Model [PDF]
The construction of creation operators of exact strings in eigenvectors of the eight vertex model at elliptic roots of unity of the crossing parameter which allow the generation of the complete set of degenerate eigenstates is based on the conjecture that the 'naive' string operator vanishes.
