The evidence regarding diversity's effect on firm performance
Abstract Regulators, legislatures, and advocacy groups assert that diversity improves decision‐making in groups when pushing firms to change the way they select managers, officers, and directors. Empirical Analysis of Bus Bunching Characteristics Based on Bus AVL/APC Data
Bus bunching takes place when headways between buses are irregular. Bus bunching is associated with longer waiting times for riders, overcrowding in some buses, and an overall decrease on the level of service and capacity.

An Optimization Strategy for Truncating Ultralong Bus Lines Integrated with Metro Networks
For most ultralong bus lines, low punctuality rates and vehicle bunching are two main challenges. One potential strategy to solve these two problems is to split an ultralong line into two or three shorter lines according to historical passenger flow ...

An Approach to Reducing Bus Bunching [PDF]
The tendency of buses to bunch is a problem that was defined almost 50 years ago. Since then, there has been a significant amount of work done on the problem; however, the tendency of the current literature is either to only focus on the surface causes or to rely on simulation to create results instead of model formulation.

Bunching transition in a time-headway model of a bus route
A time-headway model is presented to mimic bus behavior on the bus route. The motion of a bus is described in terms of the time headway between its bus and the bus in front. We study the bunching behavior of buses induced by interacting with other buses and passengers.
