Synthesis of functionalized polyolefins in a new continuous bench‐scale reactor apparatus
Abstract In‐reactor functionalized polyolefins (FPOs), produced by molecular catalysts, are a new class of polymer materials with applications ranging from high performance adhesives to bitumen compatibilization. In this work, we disclose a procedure for the synthesis of FPOs in a new Continuous Bench‐scale Reactor Apparatus (COBRA).

Parametric Analysis of Spiking Neurons in 16 nm Fin Field‐Effect Transistor Technology
Energy efficient computing has driven a shift toward brain‐inspired neuromorphic hardware. This study explores the design of three distinct silicon neuron topologies implemented in 16 nm fin field‐Effect transistor technology. While the Axon‐Hillock design achieves gigahertz throughput, its functional fragility persists. The Morris–Lecar model captures

It is a fact that slippage causes tracking errors in both longitudinal and lateral directions which results to have less travel distance in tracking a reference trajectory. Less travel distance means having energy loss of the battery and carrying loads less than planned.

Bus Scheduling of Overlapping Routes With Multi-Vehicle Types Based on Passenger OD Data
To mitigate the problems caused by bus route overlap in the transit network, this paper proposes a new scheduling method with both large and small vehicle types based on passenger OD (Origin-Destination) data.

Simulation of fixed route bus travel time [PDF]
AbstractTravel time on fixed route urban bus route is discussed. Given that the travel time is a function of three basic variables, Monte Carlo procedure is used to simulate trips during a specific time interval. Each variable is assumed to have a specific probability distribution with known or estimatable parameters.

An instance‐level, model‐agnostic explanation of class differentiation is introduced through SHAP‐LCD, linking probability shifts to feature‐wise Shapley contributions. The method operates on tabular and image data and is released in a fully reproducible implementation, offering a transparent way to examine, at each instance, why predictive models ...

Dynamic Optimization of Exclusive Bus Lane Location Considering Reliability: A Case Study of Beijing
For metropolises like Beijing, heavy congestions cause transit passengers’ unreliable travel time, including in vehicle time and waiting time. Comparing with other managerial measures, designing a lane for bus use only is an effective method to improve ...
