Influence of Alternative Protein Sources on the Physicochemical Properties and Sensory Evaluation of a Buffalo Whey‐Based Cocoa Beverage

open access: yesJournal of Food Science, Volume 91, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT This study aimed to develop high‐protein and prebiotic buffalo whey‐based cocoa beverages supplemented with calcium caseinate, egg albumin, and rice protein and evaluate their composition, stability, and sensory characteristics. Four formulations with inulin (2.5%) and different protein sources (5.0%) were prepared: BWB – buffalo whey beverage;

Explainable Remaining Useful Life Prediction Using Interpretable Divisive Feature Clustering

open access: yesApplied Stochastic Models in Business and Industry, Volume 42, Issue 2, March/April 2026.
ABSTRACT Accurate prediction of remaining useful life (RUL) is critical for effective predictive maintenance. While models like long short‐term memory (LSTM) are effective, they often lack interpretability, even when using explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) methods such as shapley additive explanations (SHAP).

Contrastive Learning for Sequential Recommendation With Negative Selection and Augmentation

open access: yesArtificial Intelligence for Engineering, Volume 1, Issue 2, Page 125-136, 29 December 2025.
We identify that generating high‐similarity hard negative samples is essential for robust sequential recommendation via contrastive learning. To address this, we propose NARec, a novel framework integrating selection and augmentation modules to optimise the quality and quantity of negative samples, achieving superior performance.
