Biotransformation of butachlor through mercapturic acid pathway in rat tissue homogenates

Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health, 1992
The metabolism of butachlor was studied in rat liver and kidney homogenates. In vitro incubation of butachlor with liver fractions (S9, microsome, and cytosolic fractions) formed a considerable amount of butachlor glutathione conjugate (BGSC), while the conjugating activity was not efficient for the kidney S9 fraction.

Effect of cadmium alone and in combination with butachlor on soil enzymes

Environmental Geochemistry and Health, 2007
The ecological toxicity of cadmium (Cd, 10 mg kg(-1 )of dry weight soil) and butachlor (10, 50 and100 mg kg(-1 )of dry weight soil) in both their single and combined effects on soil urease and phosphatase was studied after 1, 3, 7, 14, 21 and 28 days exposure under controlled conditions in paddy and phaeozem soils.

[The transferability of acetochlor and butachlor in soil].

Huan jing ke xue= Huanjing kexue, 2002
The transferability of acetochlor and butachlor in soil was studied by soil thin layer chromatography. Acetochlor and butachlor were dropped on the glass plate and spreaded soil on the glass plate was collected per 2 cm, then acetochlor and butachlor were analyzed quantitatively by HPlC. When river water was as the spread solution, Rf(relative flow) of

Biodegradation of acetanilide herbicides acetochlor and butachlor in soil.

Journal of environmental sciences (China), 2003
The biodegradation of two acetanilide herbicides, acetochlor and butachlor in soil after other environmental organic matter addition were measured during 35 days laboratory incubations. The herbicides were applied to soil alone, soil-SDBS (sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate) mixtures and soil-HA (humic acid) mixtures.

Toxicity of Butachlor on Juveniles of Clarias gariepinus (Burchell, 1822).

International Journal of Emerging Multidisciplinaries: Biomedical and Clinical Research
Clarias gariepinus is an important valued fish widely culture and occur naturally in freshwater. Herbicides produce cumulative deleterious effects thereby reducing the survival and growth of fish. The acute and sub-lethal toxicity of the Butachlor on Catfish were investigated.
