Mutagenicity of butadiene and butadiene monoxide
Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, 1978Abstract Incubation of S. typhimurium strains TA1530 and TA1535 in the presence of gaseous butadiene increased the number of his+ revertants/plate. This mutagenic effect occured in absence of fortified S-9 rat liver fraction. In its presence, the mutagenic effect seemed to be dependent on its composition. With butadiene monoxide, a reversion to

Homogeneous Styrene Butadiene/Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber Blends
Polymer-Plastics Technology and Engineering, 2006The graft copolymerization of acrylonitrile (AN) onto butadiene rubber (BR) was carried out in toluene at 80°C, using dibenzoyl-peroxide (BPO) as initiator. The synthesized poly acrylonitrile-grafted-butadiene rubber (AN-g-BR) was characterized by N% elemental analysis and Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy.

Low frequency vibrations of 1,3-butadiene, 1,3-butadiene-d4, and 1,3-butadiene-d6
Journal of Molecular Spectroscopy, 1973Abstract The absorption bands in the far infrared due to the torsional and in-plane skeletal bending vibrations have been examined in detail together with some mid-infrared bands. Torsional energy level spacings up to v 13 = 5 for butadiene and up to v 13 = 4 and 3, respectively, for the d 4 - and d 6 -compounds have been measured ...
