Examining the Predictors of Life Satisfaction in College Students With Intellectual Disability

open access: yesJournal of Intellectual Disability Research, Volume 70, Issue 5, Page 518-528, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Young adults with intellectual disability (ID) are increasingly attending college through inclusive post‐secondary education (IPSE) programmes. However, little is known about their psychological experiences at college. The current study aimed to examine the role of belongingness, anxiety and depressive symptoms in predicting life ...

High Levels of Well‐Being and Being Infected With the COVID‐19 Virus Predicted Post‐Traumatic Growth in Healthcare Workers

open access: yesJournal of Nursing Scholarship, Volume 58, Issue 3, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Introduction Healthcare workers (HCWs) are continuously exposed to stress and potentially traumatic experiences, as during the COVID‐19 pandemic. This research aims to investigate the correlates and predictors of Post‐traumatic growth (PTG), a positive outcome following adversity, in a group of HCWs during the COVID‐19 pandemic.

Slowing Down Zinc Electrodeposition Kinetics Can Maximize and Compromise Anode Stability: How Slow Is Too Slow?

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 17, 20 April 2026.
Zinc anode performance is maximized within an optimal deposition‐kinetic window. Additives that tune the deposition exchange current density (i0,Dep) suppress HER at intermediate values, but overly fast kinetics promote dendrites and overly slow kinetics accelerate corrosion/HER.

Eco‐Epidemiological Mathematical Model Analysis With Time Delays and Hopf Bifurcation

open access: yesNatural Resource Modeling, Volume 39, Issue 2, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Ecological and infection predator prey mathematical model is important tool for understanding complex systems and forecasting outcomes biologically. Incorporating saturation mass action incidence rates representing the rate of susceptible prey infection as a function of time along with time delay terms, makes more realistic and reflective of ...

Haploid Mutation Mapping Identifies a Homoeologous Non‐Reciprocal Translocation Linked to Reduced Fibre and Enhanced Protein in Brassica napus

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, Volume 24, Issue 5, Page 3219-3243, May 2026.
ABSTRACT A key challenge for the genetic improvement of canola (Brassica napus), one of the world's most important oilseeds, is the limited natural variation for commercially important traits. The creation of new variation is hindered by the lack of functional knowledge about genes controlling these traits.
