Correlation Between the New Bite Force Meter and GC Dental Prescale II
This study evaluated a new one‐sided bite force meter (OBM‐01). In healthy and older adults, the device showed good reliability and moderate correlation with Dental Prescale II measurements. Habitual chewing side bite force was significantly higher, suggesting OBM‐01 may be useful for assessing oral function in clinical settings.

The tribo‐hygroelectric generator (THEG) consists of a water‐infused porous cellulose layer between asymmetric Al and Cu electrodes. Water adsorption induces a hydrogen‐bonded network within the cellulose and enhances charge transport, while mechanical deformation increases charge generation.
