CONCERT: A Modular Reconfigurable Robot for Construction

open access: yesJournal of Field Robotics, Volume 43, Issue 3, Page 1332-1362, May 2026.
ABSTRACT This paper presents CONCERT, a fully reconfigurable modular collaborative robot (cobot) for multiple on‐site operations in a construction site. CONCERT has been designed to support human activities in construction sites by leveraging two main characteristics: high‐power density motors and modularity. In this way, the robot is able to perform a

Experiences With a Last Meter Delivery Robot

open access: yesJournal of Field Robotics, Volume 43, Issue 3, Page 1626-1645, May 2026.
ABSTRACT The steady growth of e‐commerce is a consolidated trend continuously increasing the number of parcels delivered worldwide. Conventionally, in logistics, last mile delivery has been the area of study covering the last step of a parcel delivery process: from the nearest distribution center to the customer.

The Influence of Aphasia Type and Severity on Sentence Comprehension after Left Hemisphere Stroke

open access: yesInternational Journal of Language &Communication Disorders, Volume 61, Issue 3, May/June 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Sentence comprehension relies on the integrity of a left‐lateralized language network that is frequently disrupted following left hemisphere stroke. While comprehension deficits are well documented in Broca's and Wernicke's aphasia, less is known about how sentence comprehension varies across the broader aphasia spectrum, including ...

Neural Correlates of Cognitive Improvement After Virtual Reality‐Based Cognitive Remediation in Psychosis and Mood Disorders: A Randomized Controlled Trial

open access: yesActa Psychiatrica Scandinavica, Volume 153, Issue 5, Page 553-562, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Introduction Cognitive impairment in mood disorders and schizophrenia spectrum disorders hampers patients' clinical and functional outcomes. A key challenge in pro‐cognitive treatment development is the limited insight into the underlying neurocircuitry correlates of cognitive changes.

To Merge or not: The Early Onto‐ and Phylogenetic Origin of Co‐Representation

open access: yesDevelopmental Science, Volume 29, Issue 3, May 2026.
ABSTRACT The origin of co‐representation during joint action poses a puzzle: It apparently only emerges around the age of four in humans, suggesting it is cognitively demanding, but has also been demonstrated in several nonhuman primate species whose cognitive skills do not match human four‐year‐olds.

Atypical Change Detection in Sound Sequences: A Behavioral and Magnetoencephalography Study in Congenital Amusia

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Neuroscience, Volume 63, Issue 9, May 2026.
When passively listening to oddball sequences during magnetoencephalography recordings, individuals with congenital amusia show abnormalities of mismatch negativity for frequency deviants in the right temporal and right frontal cortices, whatever the stimulus onset asynchrony and change size.
