Environmental Impacts of Perovskite Solar Cell Materials: Transparency and Reproducibility Gaps, and Reporting Recommendations

Published life cycle inventories for materials used in perovskite solar cell layers were identified through a systematic review and remodeled. The results revealed large variations in environmental impact estimates for the same materials, including methylammonium iodide and formamidinium iodide.
