Road Speed Signatures from C-ITS messages

open access: yesICC 2021 - IEEE International Conference on Communications, 2021
Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems(C-ITS) focus on improving safety, comfort, traffic and energy efficiency. Vehicle speed and other speed based indicators are commonly used parameters in traffic research for generation of driving profiles. The main goal for studying speed variation is to gain a better understanding on why drivers respond in ...

People Counting and Positioning Using Low‐Resolution Infrared Images for FeFET‐Based In‐Memory Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, low‐resolution infrared imaging is combined with a 28 nm FeFET IMC architecture to enable compact, energy‐efficient edge inference. MLC FeFET devices are experimentally characterized, and controlled multi‐level current accumulation is validated at crossbar array level.

Production of π0 and η mesons in Cu+Au collisions at sNN =200 GeV [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Production of π0 and η mesons has been measured at midrapidity in Cu+Au collisions at sNN=200GeV. Measurements were performed in π0(η)→γγ decay channel in the 1(2)-20GeV/c transverse momentum range.

Regularity Preserving but not Reflecting Encodings

open access: yes, 2015
Encodings, that is, injective functions from words to words, have been studied extensively in several settings. In computability theory the notion of encoding is crucial for defining computability on arbitrary domains, as well as for comparing the power ...

Taguchi–Bayesian Sampling: A Roadmap for Polymer Database Construction Toward Small Representative Machine Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
This article establishes a Taguchi–Bayesian sampling strategy to reconstruct polymer processing–property landscape at minimal sampling cost, generically building the roadmap for materials database construction from sampling their vast design space. This sampling strategy is featured by an alternating lesson between uniformity and representativeness ...
