Engineering Cobalt‐Based Thin Films for Fischer–Tropsch Synthesis

Cobalt thin films with tailored crystalline phases and oxidation states serve as well‐defined model Fischer–Tropsch catalysts. In situ synchrotron GIXRD reveals distinct reduction behaviour and phase evolution, while catalytic testing demonstrates phase‐dependent hydrocarbon selectivity and improved structural stability.
