Principles and Criteria for using Statistical Parametric Models and Conditional Models for Valuation of Multi-Component Real Estate

open access: yesReal Estate Management and Valuation, 2019
The complexity of multi-component real properties results from the possibility of identifying various components in legal, physical or functional terms.

C13 effect on pheromone emission for one male.

open access: yes, 2015
(A) Arrows indicate date that C13 was added to aeration jars (20 μL on 10/11/12, 30 μL on 10/17/12). (B) Average of single male pheromone emission with application of 20 μL synthetic C13 added to aeration chambers on day 0 (n = 10).

Updatable Closed‐Form Evaluation of Arbitrarily Complex Multiport Network Connections

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
The inverse design of electrically large wave devices often uses reduced‐order multiport models with discrete optimization, requiring many evaluations of complex interconnections between subsystems that differ only in a few blocks. This paper introduces a closed‐form framework enabling efficient Woodbury low‐rank updates of related, previous ...

Physicochemical and application properties of C13-branched alcohol ethoxylates (BAEO) with different ethylene oxide addition numbers

open access: yes, 2022
Branched alcohol ethoxylates (BAEO) are environmentally friendly non-ionic surfactants with excellent performance. They have excellent permeability, emulsification, foam, detergency, and are the best substitute for nonylphenol surfactants. In this paper,

Reconfigurable Ternary Logic‐In‐Memory With Organic Antiambipolar Transistor

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
We develop a ternary logic‐in‐memory with an organic antiambipolar transistor combining a ternary inverter and ternary nonvolatile memory in the same circuit. The memory function of the circuit enables electrical reconfiguration to obtain standard, negative, and positive ternary inverters in the same device.

Depreciated Replacement Cost: Improving the Method Through a Variant Based on three Cornerstones

open access: yesReal Estate Management and Valuation, 2018
Within the scope of real estate appraisal, the Depreciated Replacement Cost method is mostly seen as a solution of last resort, when no other option is available. Nonetheless, it is ever more useful in addressing various estimation needs.

A Unifying Approach to Self‐Organizing Systems Interacting via Conservation Laws

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
The article develops a unified way to model and analyze self‐organizing systems whose interactions are constrained by conservation laws. It represents physical/biological/engineered networks as graphs and builds projection operators (from incidence/cycle structure) that enforce those constraints and decompose network variables into constrained versus ...
