Complex Chemistry of a Chiral Terpyridine Ligand Based on (1R)‐(+)‐Camphor
From (1R)‐(+)‐camphor, a chiral terpyridine ligand is accessible in a few steps that coordinates to divalent metal ions of the first and second transition metal row. From structural characterization, the steric repulsion of the two equatorial methyl groups of the tetrahydromethanoquinoline units becomes evident, which causes cyclometalation of the ...

The continuous, but obviously geometrically limited Mg↔Zn substitution in members of the two basic structures types of intermetallics, the KHg2‐type dizincides, and the MgZn2/Laves‐type dimagnesidesof Ca, Sr, and Ba exhibit a large phase widths for CaMg2 only. Instead, the larger alkaline‐earth elements form the “optimized” complex compounds A11Mg16Zn6

Single‐crystal structure determination of psilocybin after dehydration
The structures of the hydrous and first anhydrous phases of crystalline psilocybin have been determined using single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The crystal structure of the known low‐temperature anhydrous phase of psilocybin {3‐[2‐(dimethylamino)ethyl]‐1H‐indol‐4‐yl dihydrogen phosphate, C12H17N2O4P} is reported.
