(Biphenyl-2-yl)bromidobis(2-methyltetrahydrofuran-[kappa]O)magnesium(II) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
In the title Grignard reagent, [MgBr(C12H9)(C5H10O)2], the Mg centre adopts a distorted tetrahedral MgCO2Br arrangement. The dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings of the biphenyl residue is 44.00 (14)°. Each molecule incorporates one R- and one S-

Balancing bossism: State expansion in the face of elite capture

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Political Science, EarlyView.
Abstract Central states have often relied on local elites to implement policies in peripheral areas. Investigation into the aqueous and supercritical carbon dioxide dyeing of polyester and cellulose acetate: The influence of temperature and carriers on fabric coloration and dye levelling

open access: yesColoration Technology, EarlyView.
Abstract This paper investigated the effect of temperature and time on the dyeing of polyester and cellulose diacetate and demonstrated the benefits of supercritical carbon dioxide (SC‐CO2) dyeing. It was evident that the SC‐CO2 medium enabled effective coloration of polyester at lower temperatures, ca.

Dynare replication of “A Model of Secular Stagnation: Theory and Quantitative Evaluation” by Eggertsson et al. (2019)

open access: yesEconomic Inquiry, Volume 63, Issue 2, Page 403-423, April 2025.
Abstract This paper replicates the study “A Model of Secular Stagnation: Theory and Quantitative Evaluation” by Eggertsson et al. using the Dynare toolkit. Replication is important as it confirms the results of the original article, provides a user‐friendly version using Dynare, and shows how to deal with large‐scale models with occasionally binding ...
