Evaluating the Thresholds for Clinical Importance of the EORTC QLQ-C15-PAL in Patients Receiving Palliative Treatment

open access: yesJournal of Palliative Medicine, 2021
Background: The EORTC QLQ-C15-PAL is a shortened version of the widely used EORTC QLQ-C30. This questionnaire was developed to measure the symptoms and functional health of patients receiving palliative care.

SAE 1015, CEN C15, ISO C15 STEEL DATA SURVEY

Alloy Digest, 2022
Abstract 1015, C15E, and C15R are wrought low-carbon non-alloy steels that are used in the as rolled, annealed, normalized, or cold worked condition. These steels are widely used for lightly stressed parts that require higher strength levels than can be achieved by the lower carbon grades, and also for applications where a combination of

Sesquiterpenoids (C15)

2014
The carbon content of monoterpenes has been taken as reference for the classification of terpenoids, like sesqui-, di-, sester-, and tri-, as they are formed by iterative condensation of C5-isoprene units up to C25. Two C15 units condense to form C30 compounds (cf. Fig. 5.15).

C15 Disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs

2011
RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS (RA) is the most common inflammatory rheumatic disease, with a prevalence of about 1%. Targeting the synovial membrane, cartilage and bone, untreated RA leads to joint destruction, disability and increased mortality. Although the total incidence of this disease is low, the level of ill health and economic burden is significant with

[Antitumor and toxic properties of retinoid C15].

Biulleten' eksperimental'noi biologii i meditsiny, 1982
A study was made of antitumor and toxic properties of retinoid C15 which has some characteristic structural features of retinoic acid natural metabolites; such as ethyl-2E, 4E-3-methyl-5-/2,6-dimethyl-6-ethoxycarbonyl-/3-oxo-1-cyclohexene-1-yl/-2,4-pentadienoate. The substance inhibited the growth of transplantable tumors of the uterine cervix.

The synthesis of the C15–C24 segment of Ratjadone

Tetrahedron Letters, 1999
Abstract Ratjadone is an antifungal and highly cytotoxic polyketide from Sorangium cellulosum . The tetrahydropyran ring is supposed to result from an intramolecular opening of a C16–C17 epoxide. Herein we report the biomimetic synthesis of the C15–C24 segment of ratjadone.

Transference of wheel loading (C15)

1982
A vehicle under retardation due to braking, Fig. 15.1, has the frictional forces (FF and FR) introduced between tyres and road surface, and at the same time an equal but opposite inertia force (FT) acts at the point of centre of gravity creating a moment FTh N m which transfers weight (w) or vertical loading from rear to front wheels.
