The Intricate Sabatier Optimality of Anion Electroreduction and Its Consequences for Nitrate Reduction

The Sabatier principle and volcano plots declare that optimal electrocatalysis is found in the middle between strong and weak binding of key intermediates. Increased liver content of DHA‐derived small lipid autacoids (i.e resolvin D1 and maresin 1) associates with enhanced mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation, fatty acid β‐oxidation and bioenergetic metabolic flux.
