The introduction of alkyl chains into Ru(II) polypyridyl complexes is important for synthesizing functional Ru‐based materials. Generally, alkyl chains are introduced by organic synthesis. Herein, we developed a synthesis method involving photoacid generation to produce ether‐substituted Ru(II) polypyridyl complexes.

Reaction Chemistry of Zirconocene(II) with Ferrocenyl Carbonyls§
The reaction behavior of ferrocenyl‐containing aldehyde and ketones towards a stabilised Zr(II) complex is presented. By increasing their steric demand, the typical dimeric metallaoxirane structure could be stepwise dismantled and the carbonyl coordination changed from side‐on to terminal, resulting in a unique Zr(II) compound.

ABSTRACT Background Globally, most people with head and neck cancers (HNCs) are diagnosed with advanced‐stage disease. HNC diagnostic stage has multifactorial explanations, with the role of health system factors not yet fully investigated. Methods HNC centres (n = 18) from the HEADSpAcE Consortium were surveyed via a bespoke health system questionnaire

In senescent leaves of banana (Musa acuminata) hypermodified fluorescent chlorophyll (Chl) catabolites (hmFCCs) accumulate and give these leaves an easily observable blue fluorescence. Non‐fluorescent Chl‐catabolites (NCCs) are not detected, the typical colourless Chl‐catabolites that accumulate in most de‐greened plant leaves.

A systematic review and meta‐analysis of parental mentalization in fathers and mothers
Abstract Despite the growing literature on parental mentalization (including measures such as mind‐mindedness, parental reflective functioning, and parental insightfulness), considerably less research on parental mentalization has been conducted with fathers than with mothers, leaving important gaps in our understanding of gender differences in the ...
