Theoretical study on C32 fullerenes and derivatives
Chemical Physics Letters, 2006Abstract A series of B3LYP/6-31G∗ calculations reveal that the D3 isomer is the most stable isomer of C32 carbon cages. The derivatives of it, including additional productions (C32H2, C32Cl2), hetero-fullerenes (C30B2, C30N2), isoelectronic molecules ( C 30 B 2 2 - , C 30 N 2 2 + ) and dimers have ...

Structures and stability of the hydrides of C32, C34 and C36
Chemical Physics Letters, 2008Abstract A systematic study was performed on C32H32, C34H34 and C36H36 at the Hartree–Fock and density functional theory levels of theory. The calculated results demonstrate that the lowest-energy isomer is classic for C32H32 and non-classic for C34H34 and C36H36.

A Stereoselective Synthesis of the C20-C32 Fragment of the Phorboxazoles
Synlett, 2007The C20-C32 fragment of the phorboxazoles was realized in a stereoconvergent manner utilizing a desymmetrization approach. This successful strategy involves epimerization and modified Julia olefination as key steps.

Wallenone, a C32 triterpenoid from the leaves of Gyrinops walla
Phytochemistry, 1986Abstract Wallenone, a new C 32 tirucallane-type triterpene isolated from the leaves of Gyrinops walla , has been shown to be 24-methylene-25-methyltirucall-7-en-3-one through X-ray crystallographic analysis and 2D-NMR spectroscopy.

Theoretical study of metallofullerenes M@C32
Journal of Molecular Structure: THEOCHEM, 1998Abstract 14 systems of metal atoms, embedded inside the C 32 cage, have been calculated and analyzed using the ab initio quantum chemistry Gamess program. We study their electronic structure, compare their stability. The metal atom with even electrons interjected inside the C 32 cage is more stable than the metal atom with odd electrons.

Abstract C32: The function of GPR56 in metastasis formation of melanoma
Cancer Research, 2016Abstract Disseminated cancer cells often persist in tissues for a long period before being manifested as clinically detectable metastases. This metastasis dormancy imposes a main threat for cancer patients, especially after their first line of cancer treatment.
