[my]-Hydroxido-bis[(2,20-bipyridine)-tricarbonylrhenium(I)] perrhenate [PDF]
The title compound, [Re2(OH)(C10H8N2)2(CO)6][ReO4], is a mixed-valence rhenium compound containing discrete anions and cations. The ReI atoms are in a slightly distorted octahedral environment, whereas the ReVII atoms show the typical tetrahedral ...

Neutrino mass textures with one vanishing minor and two equal cofactors
In this paper, we carry out a numerical and systematic analysis of the neutrino mass textures, which contain one vanishing minor and an equality between two cofactors.

312 MAX Phases: Elastic Properties and Lithiation [PDF]
Interest in the Mn+1AXn phases (M = early transition metal; A = group 13–16 elements, and X = C or N) is driven by their ceramic and metallic properties, which make them attractive candidates for numerous applications.

Unfused transverse foramen of the atlas vertebra in the Neandertal lineage fossils
Abstract In anatomically modern humans, the atlas can display an unfused transverse foramen (UTF) but currently the presence of UTF in the Neandertal lineage is uncertain due to a scarcity of prevalence studies and no exhaustive record of its presence throughout the entire hominin fossil record.

A Seismic Inversion Problem for an Anisotropic, Inhomogeneous Medium [PDF]
In this report, we consider the propagation of seismic waves through a medium that can be subdivided into of two distinct parts. The upper part is assumed to be azimuthally symmetric, linearly nonuniform with increasing depth, and the velocity dependence

Origin of the anomalous piezoelectric response in wurtzite Sc$_x$Al$_{1-x}$N alloys
The origin of the anomalous, 400% increase of the piezoelectric coefficient in Sc$_x$Al$_{1-x}$N alloys is revealed. Quantum mechanical calculations show that the effect is intrinsic.

Second order superintegrable systems in conformally flat spaces. III. Three-dimensional classical structure theory [PDF]
This paper is part of a series that lays the groundwork for a structure and classification theory of second-order superintegrable systems, both classical and quantum, in real or complex conformally flat spaces.

Dual‐Phase In Situ Symbiosis Structures for Ultrahigh Capacitive Energy Storage
A dual‐phase in situ symbiosis structure designed by introducing a linear‐like pyrochlore phase (P phase) into the ferroelectric Aurivillius phase (A phase) and precisely controlling its proportion provides a new strategy for optimizing dielectric energy storage.
