LASER HARDENING OF STEEL C45

HUMAN. ENVIRONMENT. TECHNOLOGIES. Proceedings of the Students International Scientific and Practical Conference, 2017
The aim of the work is to analyze possibility to replace induction hardening process with laserhardening process in production. In metalworking production to harden the parts of steel C45 is used induction hardening method for the moment. In this work will be used experiments to show the possibility to perform laserhardening with CO2 laser and results ...

Post boronizing ion implantation of C45 steel

Applied Surface Science, 2002
Abstract This article firstly presents results for C45 steel surface modification by post boronizing N+ ion implantation. One boronizing technique, gaseous boronizing with solid boron-yielding agents (GBSA), was employed to make C45 steel boronizing.

Austenite Formation in C35 and C45 Alloys

Materials Science Forum, 2007
The first step in the heat-treatment processes for a vast majority of commercial steels is austenitization. There is much less research put in this field comparing to the cooling transformation, but the interest is continuously increasing especially in view of the development of TRIP and Dual-phase steels.

Biosynthetic Pathway for the C45 Polyprenol, Solanesol, in Tobacco

Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry, 2004
Feeding experiments were independently performed with [1-13C]deoxy-D-xylulose triacetate and (RS)-[2-13C]mevalonolactone in the tobacco plant. The labeling pattern for solanesol was elucidated to reveal that the isoprene moiety of solanesol would be derived from deoxy-xylulose.
