Influence of molecular temperature on the coherence of fullerenes in a near-field interferometer
We study C70 fullerene matter waves in a Talbot-Lau interferometer as a function of their temperature. While the ideal fringe visibility is observed at moderate molecular temperatures, we find a gradual degradation of the interference contrast if the ...

Recent Progress on Giant Molecules: Synthesis, Assembly, and Applications
Giant molecules are molecules constructed by molecular nanoparticles with precise, rigid structure, have similar structures with small molecules and a large size as macromolecules. In this review, the constituent modules of giant molecules, as well as their synthesis, self‐assembly, applications in various fields and future developing prospect are ...

On the Excitation and Formation of Circumstellar Fullerenes [PDF]
We compare and analyze the Spitzer mid-infrared spectrum of three fullerene-rich planetary nebulae in the Milky Way and the Magellanic Clouds; Tc1, SMP SMC16, and SMP LMC56. The three planetary nebulae share many spectroscopic similarities. The strongest

Formation of fullerenes in H-containing Planetary Nebulae
Hydrogen depleted environments are considered an essential requirement for the formation of fullerenes. The recent detection of C60 and C70 fullerenes in what was interpreted as the hydrogen-poor inner region of a post-final helium shell flash Planetary ...

Drying Kinetics and Quality Assessment of Lemon Peel Using Convective and Infrared Methods
This study compares convective and infrared drying of lemon peel and highlights their effects on key bioactive compounds. Infrared drying better preserves polyphenols, flavonoids, and proteins, as confirmed by FTIR analysis, supporting its suitability for high‐quality dried lemon products.
