Ideal Molecular Sieving with a Dense MOF for Helium Upgrading with Highly Diffusion Selective Mixed Matrix Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 43, 29 May 2026.
The separation of Helium gas from natural gas is challenging but highly important. MIL‐116(Ga), a “non‐porous” metal–organic framework is used as a molecular sieve to separate He from CH4. Druse‐like MIL‐116(Ga) particles are integrated into polysulfone mixed matrix membranes.

Theoretical studies of the fullerenes: C34 to C70

open access: yesChemical Physics Letters, 1991
Abstract An interesting correlation is found between the kinetic stabilities of the fullerenes C 34 to C 70 , as determined by simple Huckel theory HOMO—LUMO energy separations, and the intensities of photoionisation signals from carbon clusters produced by laser vaporisation of graphite.

Pulse radiolytically induced redox and alkylation processes of C70

open access: yes, 1994
Redox and alkylation radical addition reactions with C70 have been investigated by means of radiation chemical methods, particularly time resolved pulse radiolysis measurements. All experiments were conducted in solutions propan 2 ol, 2 methylpropan 2

Experimental research on fracture behavior of concrete after high temperature

open access: yesFracture and Structural Integrity, 2019
High-strength concrete has been widely used in various complex buildings. The fracture and mechanical properties of high-strength concrete after fire have great research value. Based on the double K fracture model, the fracture properties of C70 strength

Appearance energy and electron impact ionisation cross-section of C70

open access: yes, 1992
The electron impact ionisation cross-section of the C70 molecule as well as the appearance potential of the C+70 ion were determined by high temperature mass spectrometry.

as-Indaceno[3,2,1,8,7,6-ghijklm]terrylene as a near-infrared absorbing C70-fragment

open access: yesNature Communications, 2020
The synthesis of hydrocarbons with attractive electronic structures remains challenging. Here, the authors describe the synthesis and properties of the C70 fragment as-indaceno[3,2,1,8,7,6-ghijklm]terrylene, which exhibits near-infrared (NIR) absorption.

Effects of alcohols on shape-tuning and luminescence-enhancing of C70 nanocrystals

open access: yes, 2013
C70 nanotubes, nanorods and nanoparticles were produced by introducing a series of alcohols as precipitant into a C70/m-xylene solution. The effects of alcohols with different carbon chain lengths on the shape control of C70 nanocrystals were ...

Pressure induced dimerisation of C70

open access: yes, 1997
Solid C70 has been subjected simultaneously to high pressures and temperatures (HPHT), with pressures upto 7.5 GPa and temperatures upto 750°C. X-ray diffraction measurements on the recovered samples indicate that the initial h.c.p.

Theoretical studies of C70(OH)n(n = 14, 16, 18 and 20)fullerenols

open access: yes, 2009
The experimental results indicated that polyhydroxylated C70 fullerene may generate water soluble C70(OH)n fullerenols with n=14, 16, 18 and 20. The plausible reaction mechanism has been proposed with the consideration of cyclosulfation and hydrolysis ...

Supramolecular Porphyrin‐Based Metal–Organic Frameworks with Fullerenes: Crystal Structures and Preferential Intercalation of C70 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The syntheses and characterization of two new porphyrin‐based metal–organic frameworks (P‐MOFs), through the complexation of 5,10,15,20‐tetra‐4‐pyridyl‐21 H,23 H‐porphine (H2TPyP) and copper(II) acetate (CuAcO) in the presence of the fullerenes C60 or ...
