Expression of CA15–3 in renal cell carcinoma

Pathology International, 1995
CA15–3 expression was analyzed in renal cell carcinoma (RCC) from the standpoint of the histogenesis of RCC. Tissue sections from surgical specimens of 12 cases of clear cell type RCC and from autopsy specimens of eight fetal kidneys were stained by an indirect immunoperoxi‐dase method using DF‐3.

CA15-3 und Mammakarzinom

Archives of Gynecology and Obstetrics, 1989

Leukocyte Alkaline Phosphatase, CA15-3, CA125, and CEA in Cancer Patients

Tumori Journal, 1998
Peripheral blood leukocyte alkaline phosphatase (LAP) scores and CA15-3, CA125, and CEA levels in plasma were measured in 57 patients with metastatic breast, ovarian, and colorectal cancer, respectively, and in 79 patients with the same types of nonmetastatic cancer.

CA15‐3(DF3) antibody reacts to normal sweat and sebaceous glands

Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, 1994
AbstractAimTo study the localization of CA15‐3 antigen in normal skin.BackgroundCA15‐3 antigen can be useful in the investigation of skin appendages.MethodsSpecimens of paraffin embedded normal skin were stained by CA15‐3(DF3) monoclonal antibody.ResultsSebaceous glands and secretory segments of sweat glands were strongly positive.ConclusionsSkin ...

A multi-center quality control study of different CA15-3 immunoassays.

Clinical laboratory, 2006
A long-term multi-center quality control study of CA15-3 determinations based on measurements of liquid BIOREF CA15-3 control sera was conducted in 17 participating laboratories. Seven different CA15-3 assays were applied using the appropriate automatic immunoanalyzers.

Are preoperative serum CA15-3 levels different in breast cancer subgroups?

Current Problems in Cancer, 2019
Breast cancer classifies to 4 major subgroups according to immunohistochemistry staining features as Luminal A, Luminal B, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 overexpression, and Triple Negative. Cancer Antigen15-3 (CA15-3) is used as a tumor marker in breast cancer while its value in early stage and in breast cancer subgroups is still ...

The clinical value of serum CA15-3 assay postoperatively in breast cancer patients

The Japanese Journal of Surgery, 1989
Serum carbohydrate antigen (CA15-3) values were examined in 300 normal subjects in order to determine the standard value of this antigen. The clinical relevance of repeatedly assaying this marker in patients with or without recurrent breast cancer postoperatively was compared with assaying the serum carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) values.

Maternal Serum CA125 and CA15-3 Antigen Levels in Normal and Pathological Pregnancy

Fetal Diagnosis and Therapy, 2001
Objective: To evaluate the value of maternal serum CA125 and CA15-3 concentrations for discriminating pathological from normal pregnancies. Methods: Serum samples from 120 women, in whom pregnancy outcome was pathological, i.e.

Sensitive and Selective Immunofluorescence Assay for CA15-3 Detection Using Fluorescein Derivative A10254

Protein & Peptide Letters, 2018
Carbohydrate antigen 15-3 (CA15-3), a specific breast cancer-related biomarker in serum, can provide direct information to monitor a patient's postoperative status and can predict recurrence and metastasis of breast cancer. The conventional Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) is an effective approach for CA15-3 detection, but there is a high ...

[Evaluation of tumor marker CA15-3 in breast cancer].

Gan to kagaku ryoho. Cancer & chemotherapy, 1987
CA15-3, a new tumor marker for breast cancer, was determined in various malignant diseases including breast cancer and various benign diseases, and its clinical significance and usefulness were studied. In 18 normal individuals, the value of CA15-3 was 8.9 +/- 3.3 U/ml (mean +/- SD).
