Serum CA153 as biomarker for cancer and noncancer diseases

open access: yesProgress in Molecular Biology and Translational Science, 2019
CA153 was originally discovered as a tumor antigen recognized by two monoclonal antibodies DF3 and 115D8 simultaneously. Subsequent studies showed that DF3 recognizes the core protein of mucin1 (MUC1 or CD227) whereas 115D8 recognizes part of the glycan chains on MUC1.

The establishment of detecting carbohydrate antigen 153 (CA153) with immunofluorescence chromatography

open access: yes2017 2nd International Conference on Advanced Robotics and Mechatronics (ICARM), 2017
This study was designed to develop a immunofluorescence chromatography kit for detection of CA153 in human serum, and to evaluate the method performance. The fluorescent polystyrene particle conjugated with the monoclonal antibody MIC15 was used as a fluorescent label.

The Clinical Application Value of RDW, CA153, and MPV in Breast Cancer

Clinical Laboratory, 2021
Early detection of tumors is beneficial to the treatment of patients. Certain indicators in the blood routine, such as red blood cell distribution width (RDW), are considered to be used to assess the patient's condition and prognosis. Mean platelet volume (MPV) is also used to assess the prognosis of patients.

Two-channel electrochemical immunosensor based on one-step-synthesized AuPt-boron-doped graphene electrode for CA153 detection

Biosensors and Bioelectronics, 2023
Herein, a novel dual-channel electrochemical immunosensor was fabricated via vertical growth of AuPt-decorated boron-doped graphene (AuPt-BG) nanosheets as a signal amplification platform to detect cancer antigen 153 (CA153). Highly open, porous AuPt-BG films were synthesized using one-step electron-assisted hot-filament chemical vapor deposition.
