Multitype Game Optimisation: A Two‐Stage Fine‐Tuning Framework for Multi‑Game Optimisation With Large Language Models

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Large language models (LLMs) have made remarkable advances in natural language processing, demonstrating great potential in modelling structured sequences. However, adapting these capabilities to machine gaming tasks such as Go remains challenging due to limitations in strategy generalisation and optimisation efficiency.

Content caching for roadside units in cellular-vehicle to everything based on network coding

open access: yes物联网学报
The cache revenue of edge nodes is key performance metric for the cellular-vehicle caching system. Based on the mobility characteristics of vehicular users, the caching deployment method at edge nodes was mathematically modeled. Network coding technology

Local Search and the Evolution of World Models

open access: yesTopics in Cognitive Science, EarlyView., 2023
Abstract An open question regarding how people develop their models of the world is how new candidates are generated for consideration out of infinitely many possibilities. We discuss the role that evolutionary mechanisms play in this process. Specifically, we argue that when it comes to developing a global world model, innovation is necessarily ...

INTELLIGENT COOPERATIVE WEB CACHING POLICIES FOR MEDIA OBJECTS BASED ON J48 DECISION TREE AND NAÏVE BAYES SUPERVISED MACHINE LEARNING ALGORITHMS IN STRUCTURED PEER-TO-PEER SYSTEMS

open access: yesJournal of ICT, 2016
Web caching plays a key role in delivering web items to end users in World Wide Web (WWW). On the other hand, cache size is considered as a limitation of web caching.

Recursive deep reinforcement learning-based collaborative caching relay algorithm in mobile vehicular edge network

open access: yesTongxin xuebao
Considering scenarios without road side unit coverage, a recursive deep reinforcement learning-based collaborative caching relay algorithm was proposed to construct a caching system by leveraging the cooperation among vehicles.

Apex predators exploit advantageous snow conditions across hunting modes

open access: yesJournal of Animal Ecology, EarlyView.
Advantageous snow conditions—in terms of snow depth and density—are among the most important features of the winter landscape for two apex predators, regardless of hunting strategy. In a warming climate, the knock‐on effects of a diminishing snowpack may reduce the hunting success of multiple large carnivore species.

A reappraisal of the Middle to Later Stone Age prehistory of Morocco Réévaluer la préhistoire du Maroc, du Middle Stone Age au Later Stone Age

open access: yesJournal of the Royal Anthropological Institute, EarlyView.
Over the last 25 years, perceptions of the early prehistory of Northwest Africa have undergone radical changes due to new fieldwork projects and a corresponding growth in scientific interest in the region. Much of this work has been focused in Morocco, known for its extremely rich fossil and archaeological records in caves and rock shelters.
