A new species of Microcaecilia (Amphibia: Gymnophiona: Caeciliidae) from Guyana
A new species of caeciliid caecilian, Microcaecilia iyob sp. nov., is described based on a single specimen from Guyana that was previously assigned to M. unicolor (Duméril, 1864), a species known with certainty only from French Guiana. The new species differs from other Microcaecilia in its pattern of annulation and/or major features of the dentition.

A new species of Gegeneophis Peters (Amphibia: Gymnophiona: Caeciliidae) from Goa, India
A new species of Indian caecilian, Gegeneophis goaensis (Amphibia: Gymnophiona: Caeciliidae) is described from three specimens collected from the Western Ghats region of Goa. This species is distinguished from all other members of the genus in having more than 120 primary annuli with more than 75 of these having secondary annular grooves.

A new species of Gegeneophis Peters (Amphibia: Gymnophiona: Caeciliidae) from Maharashtra, India
A new species of caeciliid caecilian (Amphibia: Gymnophiona), Gegeneophis seshachari, is described from the Western Ghats of Maharashtra, India. Known only from the type specimen, this distinctive species differs from all other Indian caeciliids in lacking secondary annuli, and in possessing an unsegmented terminal shield.
