Calcified nodules in the cervical carotid artery
Background: Calcified nodules (CNs) are a distinct morphological subtype of calcified plaques that cause acute coronary events. However, their clinical relevance in carotid artery disease remains poorly understood. Case Description: We

From Interferon Signature to the Clinical Landscape: Type I Interferonopathies
Objective TypeI interferonopathies are heterogeneous diseases driven by dysregulated type I interferon (IFN‐I) signaling. Diagnosis is challenging due to clinical/molecular variability and the need for IFN‐I quantification. The aim of this study was to characterize the clinical, immunologic, genetic, molecular profiles of patients with suspected ...

Bilateral subepidermal calcified nodules of eyelids
Subepidermal calcified nodule, a rare variant of calcinosis cutis, is a benign lesion typically affecting the eyelid in children. We report a 14-year-old boy presenting with bilateral nodules on the upper eyelids. Clinical examination revealed a papule on the right eyelid and a plaque measuring 0.5 × 1 cm on the left, both pearly white, firm, and non ...

The construct of cell‐niche co‐aggregates (GelMA‐SHED sphere‐DDMPs) promotes cranial and periodontal bone regeneration and ensures angiogenic‐osteogenic coupling by downregulating miR‐34c‐5p to enhance the expression of NOTCH1 and its intracellular domain (NICD).

Programmable three‐state nanoreactor for spatiotemporally controlled tumor therapy
The OMVs are shielded with a biocompatible Da–Ca shell, which prolongs its circulation period and promotes intratumoral accumulation. Importantly, the biocompatible Da–Ca shell can be controllably disintegrated in tumor microenvironment by using laser irradiation, generating in situ hyperthermia and releasing Ca2+.

Successful wire placement into eccentric calcified plaque using intravascular lithotripsy
Background Eccentric calcified lesions pose significant challenges in percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), as they are associated with an increased risk of coronary artery perforation and suboptimal stent expansion. Moreover, long-term outcomes with

Downregulated CAV1 in HO is restored via apoptotic bodies from PMSCs, which reprogram bone remodeling by delivering CAV1 to target cells, highlighting the therapeutic role of EV subtypes in heterotopic ossification. Abstract Heterotopic ossification (HO) is a pathological process characterized by ectopic bone formation in non‐osseous tissues, with an ...

Synthesis of QZCaCO3‐PEG to synergistically enhance the immunogenicity of radiotherapy through concurrent Zn2+‐induced cancer cell pyroptosis and Que‐mediated hypoxia amelioration through sequentially suppressing TGF‐β secretion and ECM deposition. Abstract Radiotherapy has demonstrated broad applications in treating solid tumors, but the hostile tumor
