Mapping Satellite Glial Cell Heterogeneity Reveals Distinct Spatial Organization and Implies Functional Diversity in the Dorsal Root Ganglion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 1, 5 January 2026.
Four distinct satellite glial cell subtypes are identified in mouse dorsal root ganglia using single‐cell RNA sequencing and spatial validation. These subtypes show unique marker profiles and anatomical distributions. Human dorsal root ganglia display layered perisomatic organization with differential marker expression.

A Phase 1 Open‐Label Study to Evaluate the Pharmacokinetics, Safety, and Tolerability of a Single Intranasal Dose of Zavegepant in Healthy Chinese Adults

open access: yesClinical Pharmacology in Drug Development, Volume 15, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract Zavegepant is the only calcitonin gene‐related peptide antagonist approved as a nasal spray in the United States for acute treatment of migraine in adults with or without aura. This Phase 1, open‐label study evaluated the pharmacokinetics, safety, and tolerability of a single intranasal dose of zavegepant 10 mg in 12 healthy Chinese adults ...

A Human Mass Balance and Metabolism Study of [14C]‐Ubrogepant in Healthy Male Adults

open access: yesClinical Pharmacology in Drug Development, Volume 15, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract Ubrogepant is a calcitonin gene–related peptide receptor antagonist approved for the acute treatment of migraine with or without aura in adults. The mass balance and metabolism of ubrogepant was evaluated in six healthy male adults administered a single oral dose of [14C]‐ubrogepant 50 mg (∼200 µCi).
