We established patient‐derived SWN cell lines and orthotopic PDX models that recapitulate patient pain phenotypes, alongside a novel intravital DRG imaging platform to track macrophage infiltration and neuronal pain responses. Using these models, we define HMGB1–CCL2–IL‐6 signaling crosstalk driving pain and identify EGF signaling as a key regulator of

Cleaning ability and induced dentin loss of a magnetostrictive ultrasonic instrument at different power settings [PDF]
Some laboratory studies have evaluated the oscillation mode of ultrasonic scalers. None of them recorded its influence on calculus removal and quantified dental hard tissue loss.

Ultrasound Modulation of Visual Circuits in Mice Independent of Auditory Confound
In this study, Qiu et al. found that low‐intensity ultrasound can directly activate sparse ultrasound‐sensitive neurons (UNs) in the primary visual cortex (V1) of deafened mice. The proportion of these sparse UNs is pressure‐dependent. Furthermore, ultrasound modulates visual circuitry with distinct excitatory and inhibitory effects.

The Mittag-Leffler Fitting of the Phillips Curve
In this paper, a mathematical model based on the one-parameter Mittag-Leffler function is proposed to be used for the first time to describe the relation between unemployment rate and inflation rate, also known as the Phillips curve.

Chronic periodontitis elevates circulating CRP, which enters the hippocampus to upregulate BMP4 in oligodendrocyte precursor cells (OPCs), thereby impairing neurogenesis and inducing anxiety/depression‐like behaviors in rats. Counteracting this pathway, CRP deficiency helps confer functional resilience to OPCs.

This work introduces a substrate‐independent, reagent‐free plasma strategy that forms radical‐rich interlayers for covalent hydrogel attachment without initiators or crosslinkers. The long‐lived radicals drive in situ gelation, creating robust, cytocompatible hybrid solid–hydrogel constructs across diverse substrates.

Anti-Nanobacterial Therapy for Prevention and Control of Periodontal Diseases
Introduction: Nanobacteria have been implicated in the formation of pathogenic calcifications e.g. kidney stones, arterial plaque, calcified cardiac valves, dental pulp stone, etc.

Dental calculus is an excellent source of information on the dietary patterns of past populations, including consumption of plant-based items. The detection of plant-derived residues such as alkaloids and their metabolites in dental calculus provides ...
