Carrion ecology: concepts, interdisciplinary synthesis, and perspectives

ABSTRACT Carrion is a ubiquitous resource in both terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, yet it has long been overlooked in ecological research. Over the past two decades, studies on carrion and the many organisms that exploit it have flourished, revealing not only wide‐ranging ecological functions but also significance far beyond ecology.

Respiratory function in voluntary participating Patagonia sea lions in sternal recumbency

ABSTRACT Twenty‐five percent of colon cancer patients having curative surgery will recur. Most of them will die from distant metastasis partly due to shortcomings of routine histopathological analysis, that is, undetected tumor cells in the regional lymph node field.

Inflammatory Pseudotumour in Common Seal (Phoca vitulina): A Case Report. [PDF]

A 19‐year‐old intact male common seal (Phoca vitulina) diagnosed with a chronic ulcer. Microbiology identified Vibrio alginolyticus. Radiography noted phalanx alterations.
