Benactyzine increases alarm call rates in the squirrel monkey
Psychopharmacology, 1986The effects of benactyzine (0.01-3.0 mg/kg) were examined on the frequency of alarm calls of squirrel monkeys in a laboratory setting. Under baseline conditions, few calls occurred, and neither saline nor a low dose (0.01 mg/kg) of benactyzine increased calling.

Impact of Resident Call Eligibility on Major Discrepancy Rate
Academic Radiology, 2010The Resident Review Committee (RRC) recently changed the policy concerning first-year resident call. Alert calls of male Red-winged Blackbirds: call rate and function
Canadian Journal of Zoology, 1991Male Red-winged Blackbirds (Agelaius phoeniceus) give alert calls continuously while on their breeding territories. To investigate the possibility that their rate of calling encodes information about distance to predators or degree of danger associated with different predators, I conducted experiments in which males were presented with stuffed ...

A practical example for reduction of the call rate level
Quality and Reliability Engineering International, 1994AbstractThis is a description of a practical way to develop a new product with a built‐in robustness for many parameters. This has reduced the field call rate. The field call rate is measured using the superimposed renewal process M(t). This work has resulted in developing ‘stronger solder joints’ and it has also reduced the amount of resolder joints ...
